What this is

THE ROAST is a satirical brainstorming tool — and a way to critically pressure-cook and stress-test your ideas and concepts with a fun twist. It generates fictional feedback on what you're working on in the voice of personas — some archetypal (e.g. "The Lawyer," "The Economist") and some inspired by well-known public figures — designed to poke holes, surface blind spots, and sharpen your thinking before the real world does.

Personas are parody, not the people

Any persona named after a real public figure is a satirical and parodic interpretation generated by an AI model. The output is fictional and produced by a large language model — it is not written, reviewed, endorsed, approved, or in any way affiliated with the named individual, their representatives, agents, employers, or estates.

These personas are intended as commentary and creative parody, in the tradition of impressionists and satirists. Names and likeness references are used nominally to evoke a recognisable point of view, not to suggest the person actually said anything generated here.

Nothing produced by THE ROAST is legal, financial, medical, psychological, tax, or investment advice. Personas labelled "The Lawyer," "The Psychologist," "The Economist," etc. are roleplayed by an AI and are not licensed professionals. Always consult a real qualified professional in your jurisdiction before making consequential decisions.

Don't paste anything into THE ROAST that you wouldn't be comfortable sharing with a third-party AI provider. Avoid submitting confidential business information, personal data of other people, or anything covered by an NDA.
